Save Our Lives-Ghana (SOL-GH) was founded in 1993 and formally registered with the Registrar General’s Department in 2001, under the companies Act, 1963, Act 179.
It was founded by Miss Paulina Priscilla Opei of St. Martins Catholic Hospital, Agroyesum in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana as a result of her passion to save the lives of babies whose mothers die within six months after giving birth. To respond to this situation, the founder set up SOL-GH, as her modest contribution to humanity. Since the establishment of SOL-GH, the organization have saved over 100 maternal death babies, with over 50 children having their senior high school education and over 20 children graduating from the various tertiary institutions in the country.
The headquarters of SOL-GH is Anwiankwanta in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
